Arcadia has a dedicated Operations team, handling the administration of contracts with maximum efficiency always ensuring compliance with Arcadia's policies and Industry Standards.
The Operations team also controls and monitors all aspects of physical trades with respect to the loading and discharge of cargoes, as well as coordinating with counterparties, charterers, agents, inspectors, shipbrokers, all other necessary third parties and other Arcadia offices in order to provide optimum operational solutions for our customers' requirements.

We use the services of reputable independent inspectors, superintendents and shipping agents worldwide, with whom we have built up strong relationships over the years. As a result we endeavour to obtain accurate and prompt information flow and minimisation of losses.

The Operations Team liaises with Arcadia's counterparties and our Finance Department, assisting with relevant financial issues. Furthermore the Team calculates formula prices for any physical deals and all swap deals and handles invoices, claims, payments for cargoes, freight, demurrage, brokerage costs and swap settlements .
